The Stand

January 27, 2025

President Trump

Donald J. Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025. Trump II has begun.More than 77 million Americans voted for Donald Trump, the most ever by a Republican candidate. He also won a very large majority of the electoral college votes. Americans voted for change, a complete reversal and elimination of much of what the Biden administration had done, and the decision-making of Joe Biden himself.Americans largely rejected the liberal, radical, progressive policies and thinking of Kamala Harris. Trump has promised to reverse all of that under the mantra MAGA, Make America Great Again, pledging to eliminate the swamp, bureaucracy, and unelected individuals controlling policy in Washington. Donald Trump must be held accountable for these promises, including economic revival, ending inflation, sealing borders, and addressing key Christian concerns such as biblical marriage, transgenderism, and abortion.

Personnel Is Policy

A president is bombarded with information, advice, and suggestions. It is critical that the right people have his ear and give advice consistent with his promises. If these individuals uphold Christian values, they can significantly aid in America’s transformation.

A Call to Watch and Pray

Donald Trump will face challenges from nations like China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran. The Apostle Paul, in I Timothy 2:1-3, advises believers to pray for all those in authority, ensuring they remain guided by divine wisdom.

“Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.”

Pray for President Trump and his appointees as they take on the responsibilities of leading America. With God’s guidance and the support of the American people, Trump has the potential to achieve greatness.
